About the High White Motoro Stingray

The High White Motoro is a selectively bred variant of the common Motoro stingray, developed over generations to enhance the white contrast in its pattern. These rays exhibit brighter, more defined spots and a cleaner white ventral surface compared to standard Motoros. The increased contrast makes them highly sought after by collectors who appreciate the beauty of the Motoro but desire a more striking appearance.

Appearance

High White Motoros have a round, flat disc with a base color ranging from dark gray to deep black. The ocellated spots are bright white or cream, with a well-defined dark ring. In high-grade specimens, the spots are large, numerous, and the white is pure and vivid.

Tank Requirements

A minimum tank size of 250 gallons is recommended for a single adult High White Motoro. Soft, sandy substrate is essential. Water parameters: temperature 78-86°F, pH 6.0-7.5.

Diet

High White Motoros are carnivores: earthworms, blackworms, shrimp, sinking carnivore pellets, and chopped seafood. A varied diet helps maintain their vibrant contrast.
