Our Story

Imperial Dragon Arowana was founded in Tucson, Arizona, out of a passion for the world's most majestic freshwater fish. What started as a small collection of Arowana in a backyard pond has grown into a premier source for exotic Arowana and Stingray species, serving hobbyists and collectors across the United States.

Our name reflects the reverence for Arowana as "dragon fish" in many Asian cultures – symbols of strength, prosperity, and good fortune. We strive to honor that legacy by providing healthy, ethically sourced fish and sharing our knowledge with fellow enthusiasts.

Our Tucson Facility

Located in the sunny Sonoran Desert, our facility is designed to mimic the natural habitats of our fish. We maintain over 10,000 gallons of freshwater and saltwater systems, with rigorous quarantine protocols to ensure disease-free arrivals.
